Notes:

from the Quaker oatmeal box.
Don't forget to pack the brown sugar, and soften the butter
before starting...and don't add the eggs until AFTER creaming the butter and sugar.

You will need:

Procedure:

Preheat oven to 350°F
Beat the Butter and Sugars, until creamy.
Add eggs and Vanilla, beat well.
Combine the dry ingredients in a seperate bowl: flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Add to the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla mixture, and mix well..
Stir in oats and raisins.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool on cookie sheet for a minute, before removing.

Makes about 4 dozen
