Various sources. Easy.
Great for adding stuff too; i.e. Rosemary biscuits, cheddar biscuits...
Add-ins should go when appropriate; dry stuff in the flour, wet stuff in the milk, cheese after the butter and before the milk etc.
- 2 Cups Flour
- 2 1/2 tsps Baking powder
- 1/2-3/4 tsp Salt
- 1 Stick(8 Tbsps)Cold (but not frozen) Butter
- 3/4 Cup Milk
Mix all the dry ingredients.
Toss in butter cut in using two knives (trust me, don't use your fingers). The more you combine the butter with the flour, the fluffier the biscuits will be. The less combined the butter, the flakier.
Add milk, stir until just combined. Knead a few times. Roll out. Cut. Bake @375°F for 10-12 min.
